Piece of Advice for First Year Students:

Try and find some balance in the different spheres of your life in your first year. It might take time, so be patient with yourself! Don't worry if you're not sure on your major coming in and you think you might change it; it's pretty common. Take the steps you need to take to find your passion! On that note, continue to challenge yourself while you're at Tech. Not just academically, because we all know you guys are some of the brightest students Tech has ever seen, but personally as well. Do things that take you out of your "comfort zone" and into your "growth zone." You'll find that you might surprise yourself with abilities you didn't know you had! Lastly, have fun at FASET, and make some new friends! You're all in the same new environment of college, and it's definitely more fun when you connect with your fellow Yellow Jackets!
