Best advice for an incoming student:
My best advice for an incoming student, other than going to Wreck Camp, is to get involved. Being an out of state student, I didn't know one person and that made me nervous making new friends. When classes started, I instantly got involved in two organizations to meet new people and have that sense of a community. Joining these organizations did just that. I am so glad that I was able to meet so many people early on and build that community before classes started to kick in. College can be hard sometimes. We are all here to do the best we can so might as well have some amazing people around us to do it with.

Why should you come to Wreck Camp?:
You should come to Wreck Camp because it is a place where you can meet friends quickly and let down your barrier. Going to Wreck Camp was the best decision I have made at Tech so far. I met so many people and are still to this day best friends with people I met there. I have gone on trips with them to North Carolina, went to football games together, and have made those late-night food runs. I got the best advice for college from my Wreck Camp counselors and still run into them around campus and catch up on life. If you are debating going to Wreck Camp, go!! You will not regret it!
