International students will have an opportunity to have a customized program specifically designed to meet incoming international undergraduate students’ unique needs and concerns. By attending Wreck Camp International, an incoming student will attend our extended orientation program, Wreck Camp. Through this program, international students will have the opportunity to move in early and attend Wreck Camp. After Wreck Camp is completed, first-year international students are required to attend the next FASET Orientation session (FASET 6) where they will be given their Buzz card, meet with Academic Advisors, and register for classes. After attending FASET, the international students will have an additional day of programming that will guide them through cultural and academic transitions, learn about additional resources on campus, and be given the opportunity to access local stores to purchase necessities to begin their college career. Wreck Camp International (first-year students only) includes Wreck Camp, FASET 6, and one day of international transition workshops August 13th, 2019.
