Welcome New Students!
The Office of New Student & Transition Programs supports new and continuing student success in the Georgia Tech community through a wide range of programs. These initiatives focus on fostering the transition and engagement of students in the Tech community: FASET Orientation (First-Year, Transfer, International, and Exchange Students and Guests); Wreck Camp (Extended Orientation Camp); Week of Welcome (partner); Connect First-Year Leadership Organization; and Leadership Opportunities (FASET Cabinet & Leaders, Wreck Camp Directors & Staff, Connect advisors).
Familiarization and Adaptation to the Surroundings and Environs of Tech (FASET) is our one-day orientation that provides new students (First-Year, Transfer, International, Exchange) numerous opportunities to learn how to be a successful Yellow Jacket in and out of the classroom.
Wreck Camp is an extended orientation experience that brings together new and current students to jumpstart their college experience in a fun summer camp setting. You will be in small groups led by two upperclassmen student leaders, color-themed teams, and the overall large camp.
