Welcome New Students!

The Office of New Student & Transition Programs supports new and continuing student success in the Georgia Tech community through a wide range of programs. These initiatives focus on fostering the transition and engagement of students in the Tech community: FASET Orientation (First Year, Transfer, Exchange Students and Guests); Wreck Camp (Extended Orientation Camp); Week of Welcome (partner); Connect First-Year Leadership Program; Transfer Programs; and Leadership Opportunities (FASET cabinet & leaders, Wreck Camp directors & staff, Connect advisors).

Familiarization and Adaptation to the Surroundings and Environs of Tech (FASET) is our one-day orientation that allows new students (First-Year, transfer, exchange) numerous opportunities to learn how to be a successful Yellow Jacket in and out of the classroom.

Wreck Camp is an extended orientation experience that brings together new and current students to jumpstart their college experience in a fun summer camp setting. You will be in small groups led by two upperclassmen student leaders, color-themed teams, and the overall large camp.

Ready, Set, Ramble!

Here in New Student & Transition Programs, we pride ourselves in providing you with an experience where you can get all of your questions answered about the Georgia Tech community, learn from other students and their guests, and grow through our office's intentional programming. Through our Ready, Set, Ramble programming, this is an extra opportunity to meet friends prior to beginning your college career, ask questions about what to expect during your FASET experience, and even have a little fun while doing so!
