FASET (Familiarization and Adaptation to the Surroundings and Environs of Tech) is Georgia Tech’s one-day orientation program for new students and their families and guests. With sessions offered throughout the summer, FASET is your first step toward a successful transition to Georgia Tech.

FASET is your opportunity to build connections and confidence before your first semester. You’ll meet fellow new Yellow Jackets, faculty, staff, and campus leaders, and learn about the resources, opportunities, and support available to help you succeed. You’ll also meet with an academic advisor, register for your first-semester classes, and complete important enrollment steps.

Families and guests will gain insight into the student experience and learn how Georgia Tech supports students academically, socially, and personally throughout their time at Tech.
