  • All in-person FASET sessions will include a Resource Fair.
  • All in-person FASET sessions, with the exception of the 5/11 Summer Transfer, 6/25 Summer FY - Ignite, and 7/14 FYSA sessions, will offer the registered student on-campus housing on the night prior to their session for an additional cost. (Guests of students must secure their own housing accommodations)
  • Students are allowed to bring a maximum of (2) guests to in-person FASET sessions, except for the Ignite session in June, which is STUDENT-ONLY
  • All virtual FASET sessions will be held on the Zoom Video Software

Cost

The orientation fee for each student will cover the cost of all orientation materials and Week of Welcome activities. In-person FASET sessions are $155. Virtual FASET sessions are $100.

Students are allowed to bring a maximum of (2) guests to in-person FASET Orientations, except for the Ignite session in June, which is student-only. The fee for in-person sessions is $90/guest, regardless of age.

For students and/or guests who arrive at FASET and have not registered for that session in advance, there will be a Walk-Up Registration line. An additional late registration fee of $25 will be assessed for day-of student/guest additions. Only one late registration fee will be applied per student account, rather than one per student or guest. This fee will be added to the student's bill.

The fees for attending FASET will be automatically added to your Georgia Tech student account. Students are not charged at the time of registration but will be charged at a later date. 

Please note that the HOPE scholarship and other scholarships do not cover the cost of the orientation fee. Your FASET fee will be due with your other student fees. Please visit the Bursars Office website for the fee payment calendar.

 

Reservation Cancellations

If you are no longer attending FASET, cancellations must be received ten business days prior to your FASET session. (Business days are days that Georgia Tech is officially open for business.). Please email transitionprograms@studentlife.gatech.edu to officially cancel your reservation. For all students who do not attend their scheduled FASET session, your time ticket will be canceled. You will need to reach out to your academic advisor to meet with them in order to be provided your time ticket again. 

If you are not planning to enroll at Georgia Tech, please visit your Application Status Portal to update your application. More information can be found at the Undergraduate Admission website. Canceling your application with the Office of Admission will not automatically cancel your FASET registration. You must still cancel your registration following the process outlined above.

If you do not properly cancel your FASET registration, the FASET registration fee will still be applied. 

Overnight Housing

All in-person FASET Sessions, with the exception of 5/11 Summer Transfer, 6/25 Summer FY - Ignite, and 7/14 FYSA sessions, will offer the registered student on-campus housing on the night prior to their session for an additional cost.

Immunization Requirements

All students entering Georgia Tech MUST submit their REQUIRED IMMUNIZATION FORMS to satisfy the Board of Regents immunization policy. It is highly recommended that these be completed with your family physician or at Stamps Health Services prior to starting classes.
